Nice and shiny and ready for those finger marks: the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Two months ago car lovers had the chance to put sticky finger marks all over a couple of Lamborghinis, a Lotus and two Hummers (story here).

Our guess is that the Lambo/Lotus/Hummer owners, Niche Cars of Bangkok, counted the fingerprints at the end of the day and decided that there were enough of them to indicate that Phuket likes fast cars and wants to see more of them.

Lotus Exige.

Which is why (we think) Niche Cars are coming back for two days, this time parking their extreme machines at the Royal Phuket Marina.

This time the Hummers will apparently be left behind, which is slightly surprising given that Phuket is Thailand’s epicentre of SUVs, jam-packed with Toyota Bullies, Isuzu Blunderbusses and other assorted off-road vehicles that only ever go off the road by accident.

So what we’ll get instead is three cars that are low enough to drive under your average SUV with a couple of inches to spare: a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Lotus Elise and its coupé sister, the Exige.

The display lasts just two days: Saturday November 21 from 2pm to 9pm, and the following day from noon to 7pm.
