Phuket Writers Bloc at it again

The Phuket Writers Bloc will meet again this Saturday (September 19) at 7:30 pm at the Underwood Art Factory on the bypass road.
Ed Vaughan, a retired film producer now living in Phuket, will bring scenes from scripts of some popular movies which members will first read. Then he will play the scenes from the movie on screen so members can see how the moviemakers and actors approached them. He will also be laying out details of a “surprise subject” – a film project to be done in Phuket.
At the last meeting the assembled scribblers were urged to write a log line and bring it along to this Saturday’s meeting. A log line, for those who don’t know, is a very short synopsis of a screenplay. For example, here is one: “Charlie Brown is finally invited to a Halloween party; Snoopy engages the Red Baron in a dogfight; and Linus waits patiently in the pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin.” (See this Wikipedia page for more.)
For those who are too idle to make up their own log lines (or those suffering from Writers Bloc), there’s always the Random Log Line Generator here.
Anyone is welcome to join Writers Bloc meetings.
